The A429 road ( English for road A429 ) is a predominantly designated primary route , 107 km long trunk road , which begins north of Chippenham on the M4 motorway as a continuation of the A350 road and leads in a general north-northeast direction to Coventry . Sections of the road run along the route of the Roman Fosse Way .

course

The road first runs east past Malmesbury , takes the A433 road southwest of Cirencester and bypasses Cirencester , crossing the A419 road and the A417 road . It continues to Northleach , crosses the A40 road and then crosses Stow-on-the-Wold . The A44 road is crossed in Moreton-in-Marsh . At Halford, the Fosse Way is left and the road passes Wellesbourne. It joins the A46 road at junction 15 of the M40 motorway , which bypasses Warwick to the west. From Kenilworth it runs separately from the A46 again, but is no longer a primary route, crosses the A45 road south of Coventry and ends in the center of Coventry.
