The A88 road ( English for road A88 ) is a nearly 5 km long road in Scotland (and thus the shortest of the A roads with a two-digit number) that connects the A9 road in the west with the A905 road in the east north of Falkirk .
course
The road, which runs essentially parallel to the M876 motorway (between junctions junction 2 and junction 3), leads from the A905 on the River Forth shortly before it joins the Firth of Forth through Stenhousemuir to Larbert, where it meets the A9, which here over the junction 2 is linked to the M876.
