The A905 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Areas of Stirling and Falkirk .
course
The A905 begins at a roundabout along the A9 in the center of Stirling . She leaves Stirling in a south-easterly direction. On the eastern edge of Stirling it crosses the A91 ( Bannockburn - St Andrews ) and further east connects the towns of Fallin and Throsk on the south bank of the Forth to the trunk road network. Beyond Throsk, the A905 reaches the Council Area Falkirk. It gradually turns south and reaches the small town of Airth beyond Dunmore .
The A905 crosses the M876 at its junction with the A876 south of the Kincardine Bridge . Crossing the Carron , the A905 runs largely parallel to the M9 between Falkirk and Grangemouth . While the crossing on the west edge of Grangemouth A904 runs through the western and northern areas of the small town, the A905 runs along the south edge and ends beyond the crossing of the Avon east of Grangemouth on the A904 (Falkirk - South Queensferry ). Its total length is 24.9 km.
