NGC 4025 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 144 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light-years across.
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 17, 1787 .
