NGC 4034 is a Hubble-Type Sc spiral galaxy with extensive star formation areas in the constellation Draco in the northern sky . It is an estimated 111 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 4120 and NGC 4128 , it forms the small NGC 4128 group ( LGG 272 ).
The object was discovered on April 6, 1793 by Wilhelm Herschel .
