Course of the road

The A993 road is an A-road in Scotland .

It begins as a junction from the A904 ( South Queensferry - Falkirk ) at Muirhouses on the eastern edge of the Falkirk region . The road initially runs in a north-westerly direction and reaches Bo'ness . While the A904 runs through the old town of Bo'ness near the banks of the Firth of Forth , the A993 runs through the southern boroughs. It crosses the A706 ( Torphichen - Bo'ness) and passes the municipal hospital, then turns north and reunites with the A904 on the western edge of Bo'ness after a total distance of 4.1 km.
