Stanley J. Korsmeyer Award
The Stanley J. Korsmeyer Award is one of Stanley J. Korsmeyer named Science Award , which annually by the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI) for outstanding scientific achievements in connection with special mentoring for young scientists in the field of life sciences is awarded. The award is endowed with US $ 20,000 (as of 2015).
The prize was awarded from 1998, initially under the name ASCI Award. The first award winner was Stanley J. Korsmeier. After his death in 2005, the prize was given its current name.
