Aaron White (born September 10, 1992 in Strongsville , Ohio ) is an American basketball player . He completed his first season as a professional in Germany with Telekom Baskets Bonn .

Career

White received his basketball training from 2011 to 2015 at the University of Iowa . In his senior season with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the US college league NCAA , he averaged 16.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

In the 2015 NBA Draft , White was selected 49th by the Washington Wizards . But he will initially spend a year overseas.

White played his first professional season for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany in the 2015/16 season . After the sportingly disappointing performance of Bonn in the 2015/16 season, White did not receive a new contract offer from the Bundesliga club at an early stage. For the Baskets White scored an average of 13.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, making him the team's top scorer.

For the 2016/2017 season White BK joined Zenit Saint Petersburg and signed a contract until 2017. After the season White moved to Lithuania to Žalgiris Kaunas and in 2019 to Italy to Olimpia Milano . In January 2020 he moved to Spain to CB 1939 Canarias . He has been under contract with Panathinaikos Athens since August 2020 .
