The Aarons Creek is a stream in the southeastern United States .

It has its source in Person County , North Carolina . Soon after the source it changes to Granville County and flows mostly north. After taking in the Crooked Fork , Aarons Creek reaches the state of Virginia east of the village of Virgilina . From here to its mouth, the brook forms the border between Counties Halifax and Mecklenburg . Originally the Aarons Creek flowed into the Dan River , since the construction of a dam, the lowest part of the creek has been flooded by the John H. Kerr Reservoir from about the Highway 58 bridge .
