Abbas Nayyeri

Abbas Nayyeri ( Persian عباس نیری; * 1925 in Nishapur ) was an Iranian ambassador .

Life

He married in 1957. In 1947 he graduated from Tehran University with a law degree . In 1957 he received his doctorate in law from the University of Paris .

Career

In 1947 he entered the foreign service and was employed in the archives of the Foreign Ministry. In 1948 he was employed in the protocol department. From 1951 to 1952 he did military service. In 1953 he moved from the protocol department to the international organizations department. From 1953 to 1957 he was the third class delegation secretary in Brussels , where he was appointed second class delegation secretary. From 1957 to 1961 he was envoy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran. From 1962 to 1971 he was Ministre plénipotentiaire in London . In 1971 he was Deputy Head of the Department of Economics. On January 25, 1972, he became the ambassador in RabatAppointed, on March 4, 1972 he took part in the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah , from June 5 to 16, 1972 at the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm and at the 11th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Nations in New York and a conference of the Central Treaty Organization .
