Abdullah Omar Ismaeel ( Arabic عبد الله عمر إسماعيل, DMG ʿAbd Allāh ʿUmar Ismāʿīl ; * January 1, 1987 in N'Djamena , Chad ) is a Bahraini soccer player from Chad . He currently plays in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad Jeddah and is flexible on the right wing, including as a defender.

Career

He started his career in Bahrain at the Muharraq Club and moved to Neuchâtel Xamax in Switzerland for the 2009/2010 season . He made his debut for Neuchâtel on July 12, 2009 on the first matchday against AC Bellinzona . He scored his first goal in the league on October 23, 2010 against FC Luzern and secured his team a 2-1 win. His contract, which expired in June 2011, was not renewed.

He returned to Bahrain a month later and currently plays for the Malkiya Club in the Bahraini Premier League .

In January 2012 he moved to Al-Ittihad Jeddah in Saudi Arabia .

In the following summer, Omar moved to Al-Ahli SC in Qatar.

In the national team

He was first used in 2007 for the Bahraini national team. At the 2007 Asian football championship he played one game, the first group game against Indonesia. He came in both qualifying 2010 World Cup and in the soccer Asian Cup 2011 is used. He scored his first international goal on August 20, 2008 in a friendly against Burkina Faso .
