Abdulmalik Akhmedilov ( Russian Абдулмалик Ахмедилов ; first name: Malik; * 1975 or 1976; † August 11, 2009 ) was a Russian journalist critical of the government.

Akhmedilov was the deputy editor of the Avar newspaper "Chakikat" (German: "Truth") and editor-in-chief of the monthly Avar magazine "Sogratl" (Sogratl is the name of a mountain village in Dagestan). He was a sharp critic of the Russian and Dagestani security forces, who he accused of suppressing religious and political deviants under the guise of counter-extremism. He was also known for his investigative reports on the murder of high-ranking officials in Dagestan.

In the spring of 2006, he took part in the international internship program of the German Bundestag as an intern and worked in the office of the then Bundestag member Margrit Wetzel .

On August 11, 2009 he was found shot dead in the village of Palmira near the Dagestani capital Makhachkala .
