Abebe Negewo
Abebe Negewo (born May 20, 1984 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .
Negewo ran his first marathon at the Vienna City Marathon 2009, which he finished in 4th place with 2:09:52 h. In the same year he won bronze in the team classification at the World Half Marathon Championships in Birmingham in 2009 .
In 2012 he won the Niort half marathon and the Paris half marathon in 2013 . He secured another half marathon victory in 2013 in Nanning with a finishing time of 1:02:55 h.
On March 22, 2015, he won the full distance of the Rome Marathon for the first time with 2:12:23 h.
