Achatius Church
Achatiuskirche or Sankt-Achatius-Kirche - also called Achazkirche or Sankt-Achaz-Kirche - are church buildings that usually bear the patronage of the martyr Achatius of Armenia , who is venerated as one of the fourteen helpers in need. Outside the German-speaking area, the name Achatius is usually reproduced as Acacius or Akakios , so that in German those churches, which are few in number, are called Achatiuskirche, which are consecrated worldwide to Saints Achatius Klimax , Achatius of Byzantium , Akakios of Melitene , Akakios Agathangelos .
