Achim Krutsch

Achim Krutsch (born February 19, 1963 in Langenhagen ) is a German chef.

Career

After training at the Fürstenhof in Celle from 1980 to 1983, Krutsch moved to Stern's restaurant at Heinrich Stern in Hanover in 1984 (a Michelin star ). In 1986 he went to Restaurant Ente in Bielefeld and in 1988 to Restaurant Merkurius with Pavel Pospíšil in Baden-Baden (one Michelin star).

In 1990 he became head chef in the Korkeiche in Bonn . In 1992 he moved to the Schweizer Stuben at Dieter Müller's in Wertheim (two Michelin stars) and in 1994 to the old bathhouse in Eberbach .

Since 1997 he has been head chef at the Hotel Der Schafhof in Amorbach . The Abt- und Schäferstube restaurant had been awarded a Michelin star for many years until the 2020 Guide Michelin.
