The Elmche is an approximately 1.5 km long, northwest and right tributary of the Wesebach in Meinerzhagen in the North Rhine-Westphalian Märkisches Kreis .

course
The Elmche rises northwest of Ebberg near Meinerzhagen at about 467 m above sea level. NHN and flows first to the southeast, after about 200 m the Elmche reaches the village of Ebberg and swings to the east. Later the stream feeds a small lake and flows after about 1.5 km at about 325 m above sea level. NHN from the right into the Wesebach . '.
The approximately 1.3 km long course of the Elmche ends about 142 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of about 95 ‰.
Catchment area
The catchment area of the Elmche is drained through it via the Wesebach, the Ihne , the Bigge , the Lenne, the Ruhr and the Rhine to the North Sea.
It borders
- in the east to the catchment area of the Wesebach
- and in the west to that of the Ränkebach , which flows into the Ihne.
The highest point is the Steinberg with a height of 485.7 m above sea level. NHN in the southwest of the catchment area. The catchment area is characterized by forests and agriculture. The Elmchebach Valley nature reserve is located in the catchment area .
