You (river)
The Ihne in the Sauerland is an approximately 12.2 km long, western and orographically left tributary of the Bigge in the Märkisches Kreis and in the Olpe district , North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ). It runs in the Ebbegebirge Nature Park .

The Ihne rises in the Märkischer Kreis on the north-northeast flank of the Horst mountain ( 514.9 m above sea level ). Its source is in the urban area of Meinerzhagen on the edge of the Wickeschliede farm, which belongs to the eastern district of Valbert . It is located at an altitude of about 457 m .
In a predominantly easterly direction, the Ihne flows between the Ebbegebirge in the northwest and the Biggesee in the southeast through the Ebbegebirge Nature Park: Initially, the brook heads in a northeastern direction towards Valbert, but before the village bends to the east and takes the water of the Wutbecke and whose tributary Ihne, which comes from Valbert as Ihne-namesake brook, flows just before the mouth of the Wutbeck.
A little further down the stream, the Ihne touches the village of Ihne , a district of Meinerzhagen, after which the Schmale Becke joins on the left. Later , the Ebbenwasser ( Ebbebach ) flows into the Mühlhofe district from the north and the small Rinkscheider Siepen from the same direction in the Grotewiese district .
When the Worbscheider Bach flows into it on the right , the Ihne reaches the Olpe district, where it passes the Attendorn district of Albringhausen to the south, with the Ränkebach flowing into it on the left . From Albringhausen it runs for 2.462 km through Attendorn city area.
The Ihne then touches Listerscheid and runs through the Papiermühle district , where the Wesebach flows from the north . Then it passes the Petersburg district and flows through the Kraghammer district .
After that, the Belém passes the district New Listernohl to slightly below the Bigge dam, directly south-southwest of Attendorner core city and a few meters after confluence of the north approach flowing corner Bach from the west at about 257 m altitude in the Bigge to lead that immediately before from Flows south from the Biggesee in underground tunnels and then strives towards the Lenne .
Catchment area and hydrology
The catchment area of the Ihne is 44.493 km². The Ruhrverband operates the Kraghammer gauge on the Ihne , the zero point of which is 275.138 m .
