Achim Moosberger (born February 25, 1992 in Filderstadt ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

Achim Moosberger began playing ice hockey in his hometown of Esslingen am Neckar after playing football for a year in the VfB Stuttgart youth team. In 2005 he moved from ESG Esslingen to the student team at SC Bietigheim-Bissingen , but only stayed there for half a year because of the high effort involved. Then he played again at his hometown club in Esslingen before he completed a season for the student team of the Mannheim ERC.

Between 2007 and 2010 he went on the ice for the young eagles Mannheim in the German Junior League (DNL) and won with these three DNL championships in a row.

In the 2010/2011 season he played for the Heilbronner Falken . In addition, he received a sponsorship license for the Adler Mannheim , for which he completed three games in the European Trophy .

In the period from 2011 to 2013 Moosberger was part of the SC Bietigheim-Bissingen squad . In January 2012 Moosberger received a production license for the VER Selb , with which he signed a one-year contract in May 2013.

In February 2014 Moosberger signed another contract extension with VER-Selb for 2 years until 2016. After extending his contract for another 3 years, he ended his career in 2019.

For Germany Moosberger took part in the U18 Junior B World Championship 2010 in Poland. He rose with the team back to the top division.
