Attention control! - The top stories of the law enforcement officers is the third offshoot of the docu-soap Attention Control! - Work for the law enforcement officers of the German private broadcaster Kabel eins . Unlike the other offshoots, it is not a docu-soap, but a scripted reality show that is produced with amateur actors . Production began in 2012, and the episodes have been broadcast since September 24, 2012.

background

In Attention Control - The top stories of the police officers told investigators true stories they have experienced. The emphasis was placed more on tension than on legal correctness. Some measures can be seen that would be illegal under German law.

From January 14, 2013, in addition to the law enforcement officers, lawyers also told stories that they may have experienced in a similar way. This was also scripted reality . At the end, the respective lawyer explained who is right and also gave advice for people who are involved in similar cases. At first there was a separate offshoot called Achtung Mietstreit! - The lawyers' top stories were planned, but this planning was discarded and the clips that had already been produced were integrated into the broadcast. After a short time these top stories were removed from the program.

On August 17th, “Attention Control - The Top Stories of the Vigilante” was taken out of the program and replaced by My Local, Your Local - Who Tastes Best and My Home, Your Home - Who Lives Most Beautifully? replaced.

After the cancellation of " My local, your local - where does it taste best?" and "My home, your home - who lives the most beautifully?" Since September 20, 2013, the series has been shown again together with Attention Control - Use for the Vigilante with alternating clips, whereby more clips of Attention Control - Use for the Vigilante than of Attention Control - The Top Stories of the Vigilantes are shown in one broadcast. In contrast to the past, the scripted reality series no longer has the addition “The Top Stories of the Guardians of Law” below the “Attention Control!” Logo, so that here between retelling and truth can only be distinguished on the basis of the obvious drama.
