The Ackernalm is a privately operated Alm on the southern slope of the Hinterer Sonnwendjoch in the municipality of Thiersee in Tyrol . The Alm consists of a group of buildings, including a mountain inn, a show dairy and a chapel. Depending on the season, the Alm can be reached via a toll road, alternatively from the Valepp or the Erzherzog-Johann-Klause by mountain bike or on foot.

The chapel was built in 1884 by members of the alpine community. The rectangular wall construction with drawn-in, polygonal closed choir has a shingle-covered gable roof with a small bell support. In the gable field there is a relief figure of St. Notburga .
