Description and characteristics
Ada-Christen-Gasse is completely within the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung, one of the largest municipal housing estates in the city, which was built in the 1960s and 1970s. It leads away from Alaudagasse, initially in a southerly direction, roughly parallel to Favoritenstrasse and then bends eastward in front of the tracks of the Donauländebahn to finally flow into Franz-Koci-Strasse. This makes it the outermost street of the settlement in the west and south. In addition to the residential buildings already mentioned, there are also social and cultural facilities in Ada-Christen-Gasse. From the Zwölfpfenniggasse to the end, the road is a one-way towards Oberlaa. There is also a marked cycle lane here so that you can drive against the one-way. The section between Alaudagasse and Franz-Koci-Straße is used as part of the Alaudagasse U bus loop by bus routes 67A and 67B, which stop at the "Pensionistenwohnhaus Laaerberg" stop. Furthermore, the bus line 19A has a stop "Ada-Christen-Gasse" at the beginning in Alaudagasse. In the southern section of Ada-Christen-Gasse there is access to the Neulaa subway station on the U1 subway line .
