Ada Colangeli (born March 5, 1913 in Rome , † February 29, 1992 there ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Between 1939 and 1958, Colangeli played small and very small roles in around fifty films, in which the small, reserved actress was directed by directors such as Mario Camerini , Luigi Zampa , Luigi Comencini , Federico Fellini , Luciano Emmer or often Alessandro Blasetti , with whom she was friends and was considered a confidante, a sneaky city dweller, a fearful mother, a curious and intrusive neighbor, a submissive spirit or simply a woman from the people, which she filled with professionalism and precise interpretations. Her Signora Fidalma, omniscient and talkative, in Carlo Lizzani's chronicle of poor lovers , was probably her best-known role.
