The Ada River is a river in Gippsland in the Australian state of Victoria .
It rises below Marney Hill at an altitude of 843 m and initially flows about three kilometers northeast to Starling Gap . There it turns its course to the southeast and after a further eleven kilometers west of Noojee flows into the Latrobe River at an altitude of 297 m .
