Saint Katharine Kirke

St. Katharine Sogn is the parish community ( Dan. : Sogn ) of St. Catherine's Church of the Dominicans - Monastery in Ribe in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Ribe Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Ribe Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Esbjerg municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

6,267 people live in the parish, the majority of whom are among the 8,317 inhabitants of Ribe. 243 people live in the small town of Lustrup, a few kilometers southeast of Ribe. (As of January 1, 2020)

Neighboring communities are in the northeast Obbekær Sogn and in the southeast Seem Sogn , from south to west to north Sankt Katharine Sogn is surrounded by Ribe Domsogn .
