Treenigheds Sogn ( dt .: Dreieinigkeits -Kirchspiel ) is a parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) in Esbjerg in southern Denmark . It was created in 1961 by splitting off from Zions Sogn . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Skast Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Esbjerg Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Esbjerg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .
Of the 72,037 inhabitants of Esbjerg, 7,279 live in the parish. (As of January 1, 2020). The church "Treenighedskirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring communities are in the northwest Sædden Sogn , in the north Gjesing Sogn , in the east Kvaglund Sogn and Jerne Sogn , in the southeast Vor Frelsers Sogn (Eng .: Our Savior ) and in the south Zions Sogn . In the west, the parish has access to the Wadden Sea over a short distance .
