Hjerting Kirke

Hjerting Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the North Sea coast in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Skast Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Esbjerg Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Esbjerg Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

7341 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Hjerting Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Hostrup in the north, Guldager in the east and Sædden in the south-east .
