The Ribe Cathedral

Ribe Domsogn ( German: Ripener Domkirchspiel ) is the parish community ( Danish : Sogn ) of the Ribe Cathedral in Ribe in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Ribe Herred in what was then Ribe Office , then to Ribe Municipality in the expanded Ribe Office , which was merged into the "new" Esbjerg municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Of the 8,317 inhabitants of Ribe, 3,629 live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020).

Neighboring communities are in the north-west Farup Sogn , in the north-east Kalvslund Sogn , in the east Obbekær Sogn , Sankt Katharine Sogn and Seem Sogn , in the south-east Roager Sogn and in the south-west Vester Vedsted Sogn .
