Gjesing Kirke

Gjesing Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Esbjerg in southern Denmark . The parish emerged in 1983 by splitting off from the parish Bryndum Sogn in Esbjerg municipality in Ribe Amt . Since the administrative reform on January 1, 2007 , it has been part of the expanded Esbjerg municipality in the Syddanmark region .

Of the 72,037 inhabitants of Esbjerg, 7,982 live in the parish of Gjesing Sogn (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Gjesing Kirke" is located in the parish.
