Gronków (German: Altthellen ) is a village in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Powiat Nowotarski in southern Poland. It belongs to the Nowy Targ City and Rural Municipality .
geography
Gronków is one of the most densely populated villages in the Nowotarski district. The village spreads over 5 kilometers in the south-western part of the Nowotarski district. The location of the houses was determined by the Leśnica brook .
There are many rocks in the Gronków area. The Cisowa rock, also called the Cisowa rock, can be seen from the road towards Białka - Nowy Targ. The rock protrudes over the terrain. South of the Cisowa rock is the so-called ridge rock, which is a bit lower.
history
The first written mention of the village comes from the 12th century. From 1975 to 1998 the village belonged to the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .
