Łopuszna is a village with a Schulzenamt of the Nowy Targ municipality in the Nowotarski powiat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland .

The place is located along the Łopuszna Dunajec stream under the Gorce .

history

The place was founded in 1364. From 1728 the village belonged to the Lisiecki family and from 1822 to the Tetmajer family .

During the first partition of Poland in 1772 the village became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire (from 1804).

In 1918, after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Łopuszna came to Poland. This was only interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II .

From 1975 to 1998 Łopuszna was part of the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship .

Attractions

  • Tetmajer family manor, built around 1790, rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, exhibition of the crime museum; Incidentally, the house of the Klamerus family, early 20th century, ethnographic exhibition
