Adalbert Gyuris (born August 23, 1953 in Vermeș , Romania ) is a German - Hungarian painter , sculptor , poet and publicist .

Gyuris spent his childhood in his birthplace. His parents were the Hungarian-born Eugen Gyuris and the German-born mother Ana, nee. You're welcome. Gyuris has a brother Eugene. In 1975 he married Doinița – Ana, b. Jugariu. They have a daughter Casiana and a son Claudio.

In the winter of 1963 the family moved to Bocşa Română . He attended primary school in Izgar , followed by vocational school, lyceum and technical schools in Bocşa and Reşița . Gyuris made his debut as a journalist in 1970 and graduated from the Folk Art School in Reșia as a member of Peter Kneipp's class in 1984. Since 1996 he has been a member of the Romanian Caricaturists Association.

His journalistic activities include newspaper articles, rebus and other puzzle tasks, enignistics and poetry. Gyuris also works as a correspondent for the newspaper "Timpul" from Reșița and for the newspaper "Timișoara", as an editor for the newspaper "Vasiova". At the Lyceum No. 1 of Bocşa 2, where he worked as a professor, he published the magazine "Amprente" for the last six years that he lived in Romania.

In total he works for 50 publications in Romania, Denmark, Spain, Ukraine, Moldova, Hungary and Germany. From 2004 to 2008 he interviewed personalities from Romanian culture. As part of his activities he has published 200 integrams, various crossword puzzles. He has created a record picture puzzle 10 × 10 (fantasy with X) in which there is an X in every word. This was published in the magazine “Rebusache” and later in “Evenimentul zilei” from 9. – 10. Published March 2002.

In the field of fine arts, his work includes painting and sculpture (woodcut). Some woodcuts are made after caricatures by Horatiu Malaele . He had personal exhibitions of woodcuts in Timisoara, Reșița, Vermeș, Bucharest, Graz, Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Budapest, Prague and Gyula. His work has also been shown in group exhibitions in Bocşa, Reşița and Macea . Other of his works are exhibited in museums in Macea and Timisoara and are in the monasteries of Bocşa, Vasiova, Augsburg and in private collections in Germany, USA, Canada, Switzerland, England and Romania. He has lived in Augsburg since 1997 .
