Adam Dembicki von Wrocień (born  December 2, 1849 in Wrocień near Sanok in Galicia , †  April 17, 1933 in Sanok) was an Austro-Hungarian Lieutenant Field Marshal in the First World War . He was in command of the Budapest Fortress in 1915 and the Hohensalzburg Fortress in 1916.

Life

Dembicki attended the military high school in Wiener Neustadt and then the kuk war school in Vienna , which he graduated in 1876 with the rank of first lieutenant. In 1870 he was assigned as a lieutenant in the Galician infantry regiment "Archduke Joseph Ferdinand" No. 45 in Brno . In 1883 he was promoted to captain and in 1891 to major. In 1894 he was promoted to colonel. In 1911 he was ennobled and received the Galician title of nobility "from Wrocień".
