Adam Leopold von Gruttschreiber
Adam Leopold von Gruttschreiber (* 1735 in Bernstadt ; † June 3, 1789 in Breslau ) was a royal Prussian colonel and commander of the Cuirassier Regiment No. 1 .
Life
origin
His parents were the Duke of Württemberg-Oelsnischer Kammerrat and Lord of Langenhof and Woitsdorf, Adam Dietrich Franz von Gruttschreiber (* Woitsdorf June 25, 1697) and his wife Johanna Charlotte von Frankenberg -Ludwigsdorf (1713-89).
Career
He first came to the Duke of Württemberg-Oels as a page . In 1753 he came to the cuirassier regiment No. 1. He took part in the Seven Years' War and rose there to the position of colonel and commander of the regiment.
family
In 1775 he married Caroline Friederike von Czettritz and Neuhaus from the Pilzen family. The couple had three sons and two daughters, two sons and one daughter of whom died young.
