Adam Wenglein
Adam Wilhelm Georg Wenglein (born April 23, 1833 in Bamberg , † January 28, 1915 in Lichtenfels (Upper Franconia) ) was a German pharmacist and politician .
Life
Born as the son of a sewer official, Wenglein studied pharmacy in Erlangen after attending grammar school in Bamberg . During his studies in 1856 he became a member of the Germania Erlangen fraternity . In 1858 he became a pharmacist in Lichtenfels; 1863 member of the poor welfare council, in 1866 its municipal representative and then its executive committee. From 1870 to 1912 he was mayor of Lichtenfels. From 1877 to 1903 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies for the National Liberal Party .

- A street in Lichtenfels was named after him.
