Addie Byrne (born October 11, 1990 ) is an American biathlete .

Addie Byrne lives in Bovey , competes for Mt. Itasca Biathlon and is trained by Vladimir Cervenka. In 2007 she started in Martell for the first time internationally at the Junior World Championships and finished 68th in the individual, 61st in the sprint and 14th with the US relay. A year later in Ruhpolding she was 56th in the individual, 35th in the sprint, 55th in the pursuit and again in season 14. A third participation took place in Canmore in 2009 , where Byrne achieved very good results with places 14 in the individual, six in the sprint, ten in the pursuit and with Grace Boutot and Hilary McNamee five in the relay race. At the US Summer Championships, Byrne won the sprint junior title and came third in the pursuit. The first participation in women's races took place in 2010 in the IBU Cup in Nové Město na Moravě , where she was 45th in her first individual. After switching from youth to juniors, the 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby were less successful. In the individual, the American was 48th, 46th in the sprint and 47th in the pursuit race. At the 2010 US Championships in Fort Kent , she just missed a medal when she finished fifth in the mass start. At the North American Championships of the year she first started in sprint and pursuit with the juniors and was second behind Boutot. In the mass start race, she competed in the women, but did not finish the race.
