The Adlerpass is 3789 m above sea level. M. high glaciated mountain pass in the Valais Alps . It lies between the Strahlhorn and the Rimpfischhorn . The pass connects Zermatt in the Mattertal with Saas Fee in the Saas Valley .
The Adlerpass can only be reached via a glacier and requires appropriate experience for an ascent. In the east lies the Allalin Glacier , in the west the Adler Glacier . The base on the east side is the Britanniahütte , on the west side the Berghaus Flue or the Monte-Rosa-Hütte .
The normal route leads over the Adlerpass to the Strahlhorn.
In winter, the Adlerpass is often crossed as a ski tour .
