Adolf August Friedrich von der Wense (born October 1, 1754 , † August 28, 1836 in Hanover ) was an electoral Hanoverian and royal Hanoverian court building director and privy councilor .

Life

Adolf Friedrich August von der Wense was the time of the 1754 personal union between Britain and Hanover born as a member of the noble family of the Wense .

From 1798 he was director of the Oberhof building and gardening department, and from 1802 at the latest he was also a secret councilor. In this management function he was in charge of his secretary Georg Friedrich Baring in 1802 , as well as, for example, the court servants at the time

The " Herrenhäuser Ziegeley Administration" under the manager Carl Ludewig Schädler was also subordinate to von der Wense.

Von der Wense only hesitantly supported the journal of the Hanoverian court gardener Heinrich Ludolph Wendland , published as Reise Ruthe .

Between 1822 and 1829, Adolf August Friedrich von der Wense corresponded several times with the archivist Georg Kestner senior .
