Adolf Baldauf (* 1939 ) is a former German ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete and today's trainer.

Career

Baldauf, who started for Stahl Brotterode , gained his first experience as a Nordic combined athlete at the youth championships in the GDR. This was also the case in Obertdorf in 1954 when he was one of the best after jumping.

A short time later, Baldauf switched to the special jumpers. In the 1957/58 Four Hills Tournament he reached rank 27 in Oberstdorf , 32nd in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , 23rd in Innsbruck and 44th in Bischofshofen . He was ranked 25th overall. A year later at the 1958/59 Four Hills Tournament he was able to difficult to build on this success and in the end came in 29th overall.

After his active career, Baldauf took on various coaching positions. In 2002 he became the ski jumping coach at RWV Haselbach . Today he lives in Brotterode . In 2005 Baldauf resigned from his coaching post after a total of eight years.
