Adolf Hoppe
Adolf Hoppe (born July 15, 1867 in Bad Kissingen , † May 23, 1936 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German organist and music teacher.
Hoppe studied at the conservatories in Karlsruhe and Leipzig. After a short, only temporary activity at the theater, he worked as a music teacher in Freiburg. In 1892 he became a music lecturer at the University of Freiburg . He also worked as an organist at the Luther Church , the Freiburg synagogue and the Pauluskirche . In addition, Hoppe was head of the Academic Choral Society and a chamber music association in Freiburg.
