Adolf Jäger (born September 8, 1906 in Karlsruhe , † August 13, 1996 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending elementary school , community school and secondary school , Adolf Jäger worked as a bank clerk . In the 1920s he began to get involved in the Nazi movement without belonging to the party itself: instead he was a member of the Baden Motor SA and the NSKK . In 1930 he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 288.238). On January 30, 1939, he was awarded the Golden Party Badge of the NSDAP .

In 1933 he was transferred to the staff of the chief of motor vehicles of the SA . There he took on duties as adjutant, head of the personnel office and chief adjutant. At the NSKK he reached the rank of Obergruppenführer in 1943.

In 1937 Jäger became a member of the People's Court . On March 29, 1936, he ran unsuccessfully for the NSDAP in the Reichstag election. From April 1938 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945, Jäger was also a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 20 (Cologne-Aachen) .

Jäger was also a reserve officer in the motor vehicle combat force. During the Second World War , Jäger was a first lieutenant in an armored infantry regiment.
