Adolf Müller (born June 10, 1884 in the community of Brenner , South Tyrol , † September 23, 1940 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).

education and profession

After five years of attending an elementary school , he attended two classes of lower secondary school in the Josefinum monastery orphanage in Bozen . Then he learned the two professions upholsterer and saddler . From 1899 he worked in the railway maintenance and traffic service as a superstructure worker and temporary conductor . In 1902 he was dismissed, after which he was unemployed. He went on a hike and did odd jobs until he was again employed by the Südbahn ( Leoben , Donawitz ). In 1906 he became secretary of the SdP Leoben and from 1908 to 1922 he worked as a trade union official at the headquarters of the railway workers' union in Vienna.
