Adolf Sabelko

Adolf Sabelko (born May 17, 1890 in Brand-Nagelberg , Lower Austria ; † February 20, 1973 in Ober-Grafendorf , Lower Austria) was an Austrian Roman Catholic clergyman and for a short time a politician of the CSP .

Life

Adolf Sabelko graduated from high schools in Waidhofen an der Thaya and Melk , and after graduating from high school , enrolled at the seminary in St. Pölten , where he studied theology . In 1914 Sabelko was ordained a priest in St. Pölten . Sabelko then worked for around 20 years in eight Lower Austrian parishes as a pastor and simple pastor in Maria-Anzbach , Ottenschlag , Großgöttfritz , Steinakirchen am Forst , Neulengbach , Gerersdorf , St. Margarethen an der Sierning and Weinburg .

In June 1932 Sabelko was sworn in for the CSP as a member of the Federal Council; he stayed with Federal Councilor for around a year and a half until December 1933.

In 1935 he came to Ober-Grafendorf, where he was appointed chaplain . He stayed that way until he retired in 1963.

In 1937 Sabelko was appointed dean of the St. Pölten dean's office , a position he also held until he retired in 1963.
