Adolf von Grote (politician, 1864)
Adolf Graf Grote-Breese (born October 25, 1864 in Hanover , † November 10, 1931 in Berlin ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.
Life
Adolf von Grote was the son of the landlord, chamberlain and parliamentarian August von Grote and Guidobaldine nee. Baroness von Alten . After attending grammar school in Hameln and Lüneburg , he studied agriculture and forestry at the Tharandt Forest Academy and the Bonn-Poppelsdorf Agricultural University . In 1886 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He became majorate at Breese Castle near Dannenberg (Elbe) . Grote was a hereditary member of the Prussian mansion from 1905 to 1918 . He was a member of the district council of the Dannenberg district, curator of the Johanniter hospital near Dannenberg and Rittmeister of the Landwehr cavalry. Two daughters and two sons emerged from his marriage to Ilse von Reden -Franzburg.
