Breese im Bruche is a district of the municipality of Jameln in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
history
It is a village in the Elbhöhen-Wendland nature park south of Dannenberg, which was founded in the 13th century and was an independent village until 1972 . The manor belonged to the Count Grote family from 1517 to the 1950s . It was born by Irene von Prondzynski. Countess Grote sold, dissolved and split up to the Lower Saxony Landgesellschaft.
A special gem is the Breese im Bruche manor chapel from the 16th century, a rural image of the castle chapel in Celle with a richly painted barrel vault . There is a relationship between the builder and the family on the Hämelschenburg ( Weser Renaissance ).
