Wibbese is a district of the municipality of Jameln in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The place is four kilometers west of Jameln.

history

For the year 1848, 13 residential buildings with 85 inhabitants are recorded in the statistical manual for the Kingdom of Hanover. At that time the place belonged to the house bailiff of the Dannenberg office . The place was destroyed in a fire in 1874 and then rebuilt. The road through the town was rebuilt. The townscape is shaped by this reconstruction.
