Adolf von Selchow

Adolf Albrecht Hugo von Selchow (born December 4, 1810 in Rettkewitz , Lauenburg-Bütow district , † June 9, 1878 in Bad Ems ) was a Prussian administrative officer and district administrator .

Life

Selchow was appointed district administrator in the Glogau district in 1849 and was civil commissioner in Austrian Silesia during the German War in 1866 . In the years 1867-1869 he worked as acting Landdrost the Landdrostei Lüneburg and then worked as a senior civil servant of the Government in Frankfurt (Oder) . Selchow was made an honorary knight of the Order of St. John in 1867 .

1852 to 1855 and 1866 to 1867 Selchow was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
