Adolfo Kolmerer

Adolfo J. Kolmerer (born October 23, 1986 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a German director .

Live and act

After completing his computer science studies in Venezuela, he moved to Berlin . There he first worked in various jobs, while visiting a film set he was inspired to get involved in filmmaking. His first productions were music videos from 2008 , including the video for video club by Dorian and Little Bushidos by Bushido . He also produced several advertising and image films , including for Alba Berlin , Lidl and Pepsi, as well as short films such as Kaschmirweib .

Adolfo Kolmerer made his feature film debut with the low-budget production Snowflake , the film premiered in 2017 at the Fantasy Film Festival in Munich . It then went on tour and was broadcast at several film festivals , it came to German cinemas in 2018 as a cinema on demand, so it could be booked by viewers for individual cinemas. In 2019, Kolmerer released the coming-of-age comedy Abikalypse, his second solo film. In 2020 he directed four episodes of the first season of the Neoriginal Sløborn .
