Adonal David Foyle (born March 9, 1975 in Canouan , St. Vincent and the Grenadines ) is a former basketball player from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, who was active in the NBA . He has also had US citizenship since 2007 .

NBA

Foyle came to the United States at the age of 15 and played for both an American high school and Colgate University . He was selected eighth in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors . For this he played ten years. Foyle was seen as an offensively limited player who knew how to defend it. He was one of the best shot blockers in the NBA. His career average is 1.6 per game. In 2007 he was released from the Warriors and shortly thereafter committed by the Orlando Magic . In 2009 he was transferred to the Memphis Grizzlies and released after one game. He was re-signed by the Magic, but played no more game due to a knee injury. After his career, Foyle was Magic's Head of Player Development between 2010 and 2012.
