Adrian Gheorghiu (born November 30, 1981 in Moineşti ) is a Romanian football player . He has been without a club since the beginning of 2018.

Career

Gheorghiu's career began at Petrolul Moineşti . In the summer of 2004 he moved to FCM Bacau in the Divizia A . There he became a regular player. After relegation in 2006 , he left the club to league rivals FC Vaslui . With his new team he was able to place himself in the front midfield in the following years. When the club oriented itself to higher table regions, it was used less often. In 2010 he reached the cup final , where he was defeated by CFR Cluj . In January 2013, he moved to league rivals Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț after he had only come on one use in the first half of the 2012/13 season . With Ceahlăul he had to relegate from League 1 at the end of the 2014/15 season . He initially remained loyal to the club in Liga II, joining league rivals SC Bacau during the 2015/16 winter break . He had been without a club since the summer of 2016 before third division Aerostar Bacău signed him in mid-2017 . At the beginning of 2018, he terminated his contract.
