Adrian Grbić (born August 4, 1996 in Vienna ) is an Austrian - Croatian football player .
Career
society
Grbić initially played for SC Wiener Viktoria and SK Rapid Wien in his youth . In 2012 he moved abroad in the youth academy of VfB Stuttgart . On June 15, 2013 Grbić scored the only goal of the game in the final of the 2012/13 B youth championship . In the U-19 Bundesliga 2013/14 he was the top scorer of the season south / southwest.
For the second team of VfB Stuttgart Grbić made his professional debut on August 15, 2015 in the 3rd league on the 3rd matchday of the 2015/16 season in a 3-1 away win against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach .
In summer 2016 he moved to the Austrian second division club Floridsdorfer AC . At the same time he was signed by the Bundesliga club SCR Altach , to which he switched in the summer of 2017 and received a contract valid until June 2019. For the 2019/20 season he moved to France for the second division club Clermont Foot , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022. For Clermont he came to 26 appearances in Ligue 2 , in which he scored 17 goals. For the 2020/21 season he moved to first division promoted FC Lorient , where he received a contract that ran until June 2025.
National team
Grbić played in May 2011 for the first time for an Austrian youth national team. Between March 2012 and October 2013 he played 25 games for the U-17 team , for which he scored ten goals. In March 2014 he played against Slovenia for the U-18 team for the first time .
In September 2014 he made his debut for the U-19 team . In March 2017, he made his debut for the U-21s in a friendly against Australia . In that game he scored the goal to make it 1-1.
He was appointed to the senior national team for the first time in August 2020 .
